Landmarks
I lost track in the canyon
between Forestville and Guerneville
so busy on the backroads of
not nice and whining
that the house along the creek
with the whirleygigs and the tile fence
didn't remind me I had gone too far
and it wasn't until
Mom'sApplePie: today's special is boysenberry
& TheCornerSchoolhouse
no where
between there and here that I even noticed
the landmarks had no meaning
if home again isn't the destination I can find my way back
